Terms of Service

This website is run by Shafaq Aashkar, trading as Shafaq's Makeup Studio, Schliemannstr. 14A, 10437 Berlin, Germany. Full details are in our Impressum. These terms apply to your use of the website and to tutorials and bundles you buy. Bridal makeup bookings are covered separately by our Booking Terms.

By creating an account or making a purchase, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use our services. You must be at least 18 years old, or have a parent's or guardian's permission, to create an account or buy.

All purchases are processed by Stripe and sold through Link, Stripe's payment service. Link acts as the merchant of record and is the seller on your receipt. Link's terms for purchases sold through Link also apply to your purchase. Prices are shown at checkout, including any applicable taxes. Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.

When you buy a tutorial or bundle, you get lifetime access to it, which means for as long as this platform operates. We may improve, update or re-film tutorials over time. If we ever decide to close the platform, we'll tell you by email at least 3 months in advance.

Your purchase gives you a personal licence to watch the tutorials for your own learning. You're welcome to use the techniques you learn in your own makeup work, including paid client work. You may not:

• share your login or let anyone else use your account
• download, record, copy, re-upload or resell any tutorial or part of one
• use our videos, images or text in your own courses, classes or social media content

Keep your login details private. You're responsible for activity on your account. If we see signs of account sharing or copying of content, we may suspend or close the account. For serious breaches, such as reselling our content, we may close it without warning.

If you post comments or questions on the platform, keep them respectful. We may remove content that is offensive, spam, or breaks the law.

Makeup tutorials show techniques, not medical advice. Always patch-test new products, check ingredients for anything you're sensitive to, and keep your tools clean. If you have a skin condition, ask a dermatologist before trying new products. When you apply makeup on others, their safety, including allergies and hygiene, is your responsibility.

Everyone's skin, products and skill level are different, so we can't guarantee you'll achieve a particular result.

All content on this platform, including videos, images and text, belongs to Shafaq Aashkar and is protected by copyright. Using it in any way not allowed in section 5 requires our written permission.

We're fully liable for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and under the German Product Liability Act. For slight negligence, we're only liable if we breach an essential contractual obligation, meaning one that makes the contract possible in the first place and that you can normally rely on. In that case our liability is limited to the typical, foreseeable damage. Otherwise, we're not liable for slight negligence.

We may update these terms, for example because of new laws or new features. We'll email you about changes at least 30 days before they take effect. If you object within that time, the previous terms continue to apply to purchases you've already made. Changes will never reduce your access to tutorials you've already bought.

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you're a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
